Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Fort Worth, TX

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Fort Worth, Texas. The role supports patients of all ages and includes NICU, ICU and ED exposure, with ABGs, ventilator support and common respiratory treatments.

• Perform respiratory treatments and therapies across the unit
• Collect arterial blood gases and monitor patient response
• Assist with intubation and airway support
• Administer nebulizer, metaneb, IPPB and CPT treatments
• Monitor ventilator settings and respond to changes in patient status
• Document care and communicate findings with the care team

• Texas respiratory therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential and BLS certification
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• NICU, ICU and ED experience
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases
• Strong customer service skills and care for patients of all ages

• Servo I ventilator experience and I-Stat experience
