Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Farmington, CT

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The unit serves adults with respiratory, cardiac, and orthopedic needs and uses EPIC.

• Assess adult patients and adjust respiratory care plans
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway support
• Monitor ventilator settings and patient response
• Collect and evaluate arterial blood gases and related data
• Support care in ICU, ED, medical-surgical, telemetry, and psychiatric settings
• Respond to changing respiratory status
• Document care and coordinate with the care team

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC or equivalent certifying body
• Connecticut respiratory therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 to 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• EPIC experience
• Travel experience
