Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Dallas, TX

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide pediatric respiratory support in a pediatric emergency department within a hospital on a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The unit has 15 beds, a 1 therapist ratio, and uses Meditech.

• Provide respiratory care for pediatric emergency patients
• Assess breathing status and support treatment plans
• Assist with bronchiolitic scoring and documentation
• Support noninvasive ventilation setup and monitoring
• Assist with invasive ventilation during acute events
• Respond to respiratory arrest situations and coordinate care

• Texas Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Pediatric critical care experience
• Noninvasive and invasive ventilation skills

• Critical care pediatric experience
