Travel Radiology Technologist in Charleston, SC

A Travel Radiology Technologist CT Technologist will provide CT and X-ray imaging support in a teaching hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults with some pediatric patients and uses Epic charting. It is a Magnet, teaching, level I trauma setting.

• Perform CT and radiography exams for adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures
• Position patients and assist with contrast administration as needed
• Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Support outpatient and emergency imaging needs
• Use Epic and PACS workflows to document studies

• ARRT registration in Radiography and Computed Tomography
• South Carolina radiology license
• BLS certification and ACLS within 2 to 3 weeks of hire
• 2 years of radiology technologist experience
• Epic charting experience, PACS familiarity, Siemens equipment experience and peripheral IV start skills

• Emergency, trauma and pediatric imaging experience
• 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction and region of interest measurement
• Coronary CTA and vascular CTA experience
• Management or lead experience
