Travel Radiology Technologist in Charleston, SC

A Travel Radiology Technologist Computed Tomography Technologist will provide computed tomography and x-ray imaging in a teaching hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The setting serves adults, some pediatrics, and outpatients, with Epic charting, Magnet status, and a level 1 trauma designation.

• Perform CT and x-ray studies for adult and pediatric patients
• Explain procedures and position patients for imaging
• Produce diagnostic images for interpretation
• Prepare and administer contrast media as ordered
• Start peripheral IV access and support venipuncture needs
• Apply radiation safety and isolation precautions

• South Carolina radiologic technologist license
• ARRT registration in Radiography and Computed Tomography
• BLS and ACLS within 2-3 weeks of hire
• 2 years of radiology or CT technologist experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• Emergency, trauma, pediatric and orthopedic imaging
• Siemens equipment
• 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Coronary CTA and vascular CTA
