Travel Radiology Technologist in Charleston, SC

A Travel Radiology Technologist will provide CT and X-ray imaging and patient care in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults with some pediatrics and outpatients, uses Epic charting, and is in a Magnet, teaching, Level I trauma hospital.

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging for adult and pediatric patients
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for imaging studies
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed
• Produce quality images for interpretation and provider review
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Support emergency, trauma, orthopedic and outpatient studies

• ARRT registration in radiography and computed tomography
• South Carolina radiologic technologist license
• BLS certification; ACLS within 2 to 3 weeks of hire
• 2 years of radiology technologist experience
• Epic and PACS experience
• Prior travel experience

• Emergency, trauma, pediatric and orthopedic CT and X-ray experience
• Siemens equipment familiarity
• 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction and ROI measurement experience
• Coronary CTA, vascular CTA and heart imaging experience
