Travel Radiology Technologist in Charleston, SC

A Travel Radiology Technologist Computed Tomography Technologist will provide CT and x-ray imaging in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and some pediatrics, including STEMI, stroke, cardiac, and trauma patients, in a teaching, Magnet, Level 1 Trauma hospital with Epic charting.

• Perform CT and x-ray imaging for adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly
• Start peripheral IVs and assist with contrast administration
• Produce quality images for interpretation
• Support emergency, trauma, stroke, and cardiac imaging needs
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions

• Current South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
• BLS certification; ACLS after hire
• 2 years of radiology technologist experience, community hospital experience, and prior travel experience
• Epic and PACS experience
• CT and x-ray skills with venipuncture, peripheral IV starts, contrast media, radiation safety, and Siemens equipment

• 3D post-processing, including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Cardiac, coronary CTA, and vascular CTA imaging
• Adult and pediatric acute care experience; management or lead experience
