Travel Radiation Therapist in Santa Monica, CA

A Travel Radiation Therapist will support treatment delivery and patient care in a radiation oncology unit on a 13-week contract in Santa Monica, California. The role sees about 20 to 30 patients per day and uses Epic charting with advanced radiation equipment in an acute care hospital.

• Prepare patients for radiation therapy sessions
• Assist with external beam therapy and radiosurgery workflows
• Support tumor localization, imaging, and treatment setup
• Create custom molds, shields, blocks, and wedges
• Perform dose calculations and follow radiation safety practices
• Document care and support emergency response needs

• BLS certification
• ARRT-T certification
• State and national radiation therapist certification
• 1 year of radiation therapist experience
• Experience with adult and pediatric acute care
• Any charting system experience
