Travel Radiation Therapist in West Hollywood, CA

A Travel Radiation Therapist will provide radiation therapy care in a radiation therapy unit on a 13-week contract in West Hollywood, California. The unit treats adult cancer cases, uses Epic charting, and works with modern treatment equipment and CT simulation.

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
• Set up patients and verify treatment positioning
• Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging for alignment checks
• Assist with CT simulation and treatment planning workflow
• Document care and treatment details in Epic
• Support urgent treatment needs for emergency cases

• 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• ARRT Radiation Therapist certification
• Active California license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Adult inpatient and outpatient experience, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and emergency case experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ARRT R certification, chart check, CT simulation, custom molds, and tumor localization
• Radiation safety, patient and family teaching, MRI, and use of rapid response or code teams
• Pediatric acute and outpatient experience, trauma level I or II experience, and teaching or community hospital experience
