Travel Psychiatric RN in Holyoke, MA

A Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect care in an inpatient psychiatric hospital on a 13-week contract in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The unit serves patients with psychiatric distress and co-occurring substance use needs. The role supports a safe therapeutic milieu, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and recovery-focused care.

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families
• Support a safe, therapeutic milieu on the unit
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on individualized treatment plans
• Develop, implement, and document goals and interventions
• Use crisis management and de-escalation skills to maintain safety
• Lead charge responsibilities as assigned
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR certification
• 3 years of psychiatric inpatient experience
• Strong computer, typing, and EMR skills
• Behavioral health and substance use treatment knowledge

• BSN
• Psychiatric or substance use inpatient experience
• Restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention experience
