A Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse will provide care in an adolescent behavioral health unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 9 beds, a 1:9 ratio, Cerner charting, and uses Pyxis and Dynamap equipment. Magnet designation supports a nursing-focused practice environment.

• Provide nursing care for adolescents in a behavioral health unit
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Complete patient assessments and safety checks
• Document care in Cerner
• Support therapeutic boundaries and de-escalation
• Collaborate with behavioral health staff on care plans

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• CPI certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong therapeutic communication and de-escalation skills

• Pediatric behavioral health experience
