Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Thornton, CO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for progressive care patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech and CPN, supports tele and post-op monitoring, and has a strong teamwork-focused culture.

• Monitor progressive care patients on telemetry
• Assess post-op orthopedic, spine, GYN, and cath lab patients
• Manage cardiac drips and heparin per protocol
• Support recovery for stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, and respiratory failure patients
• Document care in Meditech and CPN
• Collaborate with charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 1 year of current hospital PCU experience

• Cardiac experience
• Prior Meditech experience
