Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Springfield, VT

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide progressive and medical-surgical care in an adaptive acuity unit on a 13-week contract in Springfield, Vermont. The unit has 25 beds and uses a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, with occasional PCU-level care.

• Assess and monitor adult medical-surgical and progressive care patients
• Titrate ordered drips and manage IV infusions
• Track telemetry and respond to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and complete routine nursing interventions
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses

• Current Vermont Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience with insulin, esmolol, and sodium drips
• Charge nurse experience
• Progressive care and telemetry nursing skills
