Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults in a surgical cardiac telemetry hospital in Seattle, Washington on a 26-week contract. The unit has 36 beds, averages 32 patients daily, uses Epic, and maintains a 1:4 ratio for cardiac, vascular, and stroke-related patients.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Provide pre- and post-open-heart and post-cath lab care
• Administer blood products and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Support chest tubes, central lines, PICCs, and surgical drains
• Deliver oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, and trach care
• Assist with cardioversion, pacer care, and cardiac device support
• Perform wound care and reinforce sternal precautions

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• Port access, feeding tube care, and patient-controlled analgesia support
• Cardiac angiogram, sheath removal, and TR Band care
• IV insulin, cardiac drip, and vasoactive drip titration
• Teaching or community hospital experience
