Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiac telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The 36-bed surgical telemetry unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic and typically works at 1:4 ratios.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes
• Assess and support post-open-heart and vascular patients
• Administer blood products, IV therapies and stable drips
• Manage chest tubes, surgical drains and sternal precautions
• Assist with cardioversion, defibrillation and epicardial pacing
• Collaborate with respiratory, therapy and rapid response teams

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Open-heart surgery and vascular care experience
• Prior travel experience

• VAD and TAVR experience
• Port access, feeding tube care and IV insulin protocols
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience
