Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide adult and geriatric care in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The role includes telemetry and med surg patients, Epic charting, and ratios of 1:4-6.

• Monitors telemetry and recognizes rhythm changes
• Manages cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Assesses oxygen support, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow needs
• Cares for central lines, PICCs, IVs, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
• Administers blood products, maintains heparin therapy, and starts IV access
• Supports rapid response, code, and charge nurse duties as assigned

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 3 years of US acute care nursing experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Adult and geriatric progressive care, telemetry, and stepdown skills

• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Cardiac, neurologic, and drip management experience
