Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Newport, VT

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide inpatient progressive care and med-surg nursing in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Newport, Vermont. The unit also serves telemetry patients.

• Assess progressive care and med-surg patients and update care plans
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with the nursing team and providers
• Perform charge nurse duties when assigned
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Active Vermont Registered Nurse license upon acceptance
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 5 years of progressive care, med-surg, or telemetry nursing experience
• Ability to work independently
• Charge nurse experience
