Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric telemetry and intermediate care patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Edmonds, Washington. The unit uses mixed Tele and IMCU ratios of 1:4 and 1:3. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor adult and geriatric progressive care patients
• Assist with pre and post cardiac catheterization care
• Support respiratory treatments and noninvasive ventilation
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and observe cardiac rhythm changes
• Manage central lines, ports, drains and feeding tubes
• Administer ordered cardiac, antiarrhythmic and seizure medications
• Support cardioversion, defibrillation and wound vac care

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of progressive care or intermediate care experience
• Telemetry interpretation and 12-lead EKG skills
• Adult and geriatric patient care experience
