Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Edmonds, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital in Edmonds, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit blends telemetry and IMCU care with Epic charting and 1:3 to 1:4 ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and recognize rhythm changes
• Provide pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Assist with respiratory support, including BiPAP and CPAP
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips, blood products, and ordered therapies
• Perform central line, PICC, peripheral IV, and wound care
• Manage feeding tubes, chest tubes, drains, and tracheostomy care
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and respond to changes in patient condition

• Washington Registered Nurse license or active compact license
• 2 years of progressive care, stepdown, PCU, DOU, IMC, or IMU experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic charting system experience
• BiPAP and CPAP management, telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and central line care

• Cerebrovascular accident experience
