Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Cookeville, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult neurologic and cardiac patients in an acute care hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit averages 12 patients daily in 31 beds and receives observation patients after cardiac and electrophysiology services.

• Monitor adult patients with cardiac and neurologic needs
• Interpret rhythms and respond promptly to status changes
• Administer medications and perform ordered nursing interventions
• Provide care for observation and post-procedure patients
• Coordinate with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• 2+ years of cardiac or progressive care nursing experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Prior travel nursing experience

• NIHSS certification
