Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for stepdown patients in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves a Magnet-designated, comprehensive stroke center and Level II trauma center.

• Monitor telemetry and clinical status for progressive care patients
• Administer medications and support ordered therapies
• Assess changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient response and care provided in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on the plan of care

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong telemetry, assessment and acute care skills
