Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in a pulmonary unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 23 step-down beds and 16 med surg beds, uses Cerner, and manages patients with ratios of 1:3-4 in step-down and 1:4-6 in med surg.

• Monitor progressive care and med surg patients for clinical changes
• Administer and manage cardiac drips and other ordered therapies
• Provide trach care and support stable vented patients
• Assist with chest tube management and related nursing care
• Perform wound dressing changes and ongoing patient assessments
• Document care and patient status in the electronic record

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience with trachs

• Cerner experience
