Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for mixed-acuity medical surgical and step-down patients in a hospital clinical decision unit on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit has 20 beds, uses Cerner, and cares for short stay patients with telemetry needs and 1:5 to 1:6 ratios.

• Monitor telemetry and patient status
• Provide care for mixed-acuity patients
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Document assessments and interventions in Cerner
• Collaborate with the care team
• Support patient education and discharge planning

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Telemetry competency
• Progressive care experience

• Recent progressive care experience
