Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Akron, OH

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a progressive care unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Akron, Ohio. The unit serves PCU and stepdown patients.

• Assess progressive care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Monitor ECG rhythms and other clinical status trends
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Coordinate care with physicians and the nursing team
• Document patient status and interventions
• Assist with stepdown care and patient recovery

• Ohio Registered Nurse license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS
• 12 months of permanent PCU or stepdown experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety skills
