Travel Pre-Op RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Pre-Op Registered Nurse will provide preoperative and postanesthesia support in an acute care hospital in Everett, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients for same-day and inpatient surgery. First-time travelers are welcome, and the unit follows ASPAN standards with EPIC charting.

• Assess preoperative patients and review history, physicals, and lab results
• Prepare patients for surgery with education, consent review, and medication reconciliation
• Start and maintain IV access and administer ordered pre-op medications
• Monitor responses to sedation, reversal agents, nerve blocks, and pain treatment
• Support phase II recovery and discharge teaching for surgical patients
• Coordinate care with anesthesia, surgery, and support services

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Accredited Registered Nurse program graduate

• Epic charting system experience
• Inpatient experience
• Previous charge experience
• Post cath lab and IR procedure experience
