Travel Post Partum RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Postpartum Registered Nurse will provide care for postpartum patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit serves high-risk patients, uses Meditech and CPN charting, and typically assigns 3:4 couplets per Registered Nurse.

• Provide postpartum nursing care for mothers and newborns
• Monitor couplets and support recovery after delivery
• Perform point-of-care glucose checks and bedside monitoring
• Support breastfeeding education and feeding assistance
• Assess blood pressure changes and assist with hypertension management
• Monitor for postpartum hemorrhage and assist with circumcision care

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse license
• 1 year current acute care postpartum hospital experience
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• High-risk postpartum experience
• Level II nursery experience
