Travel Post Partum RN in Arlington, TX

A Travel Post Partum Registered Nurse will provide care for postpartum couplets and newborns in a hospital mother-baby unit on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and CPN and typically staffs at a 1:3 couplet ratio.

• Provide couplet care for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Support breastfeeding and feeding needs
• Monitor newborn screenings, blood glucose, and jaundice
• Perform perineal and incision care
• Collaborate with OB, pediatricians, and lactation teams
• Complete hourly rounding and bedside shift report

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Couplet care competencies
• Breastfeeding support skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Mother-Baby charge experience
• Late-preterm newborn experience
• Transitional newborn experience
