Travel Post Partum RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Postpartum Registered Nurse will provide care for postpartum and couplet patients on a high-volume postpartum unit in Austin, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and CPN, has a 1:4 couplet ratio, and supports Level IV maternal and Level III NICU care.

• Monitor postpartum and couplet recovery
• Assist with nonstress tests and maternal assessments
• Manage hyperemesis care and support IV therapies
• Administer and monitor magnesium and heparin drips
• Educate families on postpartum recovery and newborn care
• Document care and collaborate with the care team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NRP Advanced Provider certification

• Labor and delivery or antepartum experience
