Travel Post Partum RN in Walnut Creek, CA

A Travel Post Partum Registered Nurse will provide postpartum nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 14-week contract in Walnut Creek, California. The unit cares for vaginal and cesarean delivery patients, magnesium therapy patients, and gestational hypertension cases with EPIC charting and a 1:3 ratio.

• Provide postpartum nursing care for mothers after delivery
• Monitor maternal status, recovery, and pain needs
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Assist with care for vaginal and cesarean delivery patients
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery and newborn care
• Document assessments and interventions in the chart

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• 2+ years of postpartum nursing experience
• Strong maternal-newborn assessment skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• CLS certification
• IBCLC certification
• EPIC experience
