Travel Post Partum RN in Chillicothe, OH

A Travel Postpartum Registered Nurse will care for postpartum couplets and low-risk antepartum patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Chillicothe, Ohio. The unit also supports gynecological surgery patients and newborn care, with EPIC used for charting. Care includes newborn assessments, hearing screening, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments.

• Assess postpartum couplets and low-risk antepartum patients
• Support gynecological surgery patients and newborn care
• Perform IV access and blood draws
• Insert, manage, and remove Foley catheters
• Complete newborn assessments and 24-hour testing
• Carry out hearing screening, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license
• BLS/BCLS certification
• NRP certification
• 2 years of mother infant nursing experience
• EPIC experience

• Previous travel experience
