Travel PICU RN in Idaho Falls, ID

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill children in a pediatric intensive care unit on a 26-week contract in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The unit has 16 beds and acuity-based ratios of 1:1 to 2:1 for PICU patients, 3:1 for IMC, and 4:1.

• Monitor pediatric critical care patients and respond to changing conditions
• Manage mechanical ventilation and noninvasive respiratory support
• Titrate vasoactive, paralytic, and sedative infusions
• Assist with intubation, central lines, and invasive monitoring
• Perform age-specific assessments and weight-based medication administration
• Support moderate sedation and continuous organ-support therapies
• Collaborate with the care team and families

• Idaho Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 1+ year of recent pediatric critical care bedside experience
• Experience with mechanical ventilation, HFNC, nasal CPAP, and tracheostomy care
• Experience with arterial lines, central lines, and critical care infusions
• Weight-based pharmacology and age-specific assessment skills
