Travel PICU RN in Anaheim, CA

A Travel Pediatric Critical Care Transport Registered Nurse will stabilize, monitor, and transport critically ill pediatric patients in the transport environment for a 13-week contract in Anaheim, California. This is not a traditional bedside PICU position and involves ICU-level care during interfacility transport. Ventilators, vasoactive drips, sedation, and advanced airway support are part of the work.

• Stabilize critically ill pediatric patients before and during transport
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and respiratory status in the transport environment
• Assist with ventilator management, vasoactive infusions, sedation, and airway support
• Coordinate safe handoff and communication with sending and receiving teams
• Manage transport equipment and supplies during interfacility transfers
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response
• Support ICU-level care for pediatric patients with changing acuity

• California Registered Nurse license
• Current PALS certification
• 5+ years of PICU and critical care experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• 5+ years of pediatric transport experience
• Ambulance transport and interfacility transfer experience
• Children's hospital experience
• Dedicated pediatric transport team experience
