Travel PICU RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill children in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit uses Meditech charting and works with 1:2 ratios, with 1:1 care for higher acuity patients.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients
• Assist with conscious sedation and airway support
• Provide care for respiratory failure, including ventilated patients
• Maintain central lines and IV therapy
• Support post-operative cardiac care
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team

• Minimum 1-year current PICU Registered Nurse experience
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Colorado Registered Nurse license

• Experience with post-operative cardiac patients
• Venipuncture skill
