Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a high-acuity pediatric cardiac and medical intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit uses Epic charting and supports complex cardiac and medical patients with ECMO, VAD, and CRRT access and 1:1 to 1:2 ratios.

• Monitor pediatric cardiac and medical critical care patients
• Manage ventilated patients and airway support
• Administer blood products, infusions, and medications
• Maintain central lines, arterial lines, and vascular access
• Support hemodynamic monitoring and dysrhythmia care
• Assist with chest tubes, trachs, drains, and wound care
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the team

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric critical care skills

• CRRT experience
• Pediatric CVICU experience
• Peritoneal dialysis or CAPD experience
• Trauma Level I experience
