Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in White River Junction, VT

A Travel Physical Therapist Assistant Registered Physical Therapist Assistant will provide therapy services under supervision in a home health provider setting for a 16-week contract in White River Junction, Vermont. The role supports patient plans of care, treatment, and documentation for people receiving rehabilitation at home.

• Provide treatment under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist
• Support exercise, gait, functional training, and activities of daily living
• Assist with transfer training and prosthetic training as planned
• Use therapeutic equipment and physical treatment methods as directed
• Observe patient response and report changes to the supervising therapist
• Teach self-care techniques to patients and caregivers
• Complete accurate clinical notes and treatment documentation

• Vermont and New Hampshire Physical Therapist Assistant license or compact license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• BLS/BCLS certification
• Physical therapy assistant skills in treatment, documentation, and patient instruction

• One year of Physical Therapist Assistant experience in a home health care setting
