Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Fresno, CA

A Travel Physical Therapist Assistant will support inpatient physical therapy care in an acute care hospital for a 12-week contract in Fresno, California. The inpatient unit serves hospitalized patients rebuilding mobility, balance, strength, and safe discharge function.

• Assist with treatment sessions under supervision
• Guide therapeutic exercise, gait, and transfer activities
• Support mobility training for hospitalized patients
• Monitor response to therapy and report changes
• Document interventions, progress, and patient tolerance
• Teach safety, home exercises, and functional strategies

• California Physical Therapist Assistant license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Inpatient rehabilitation, documentation, and teamwork skills
