Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Potosi, MO

A Travel Physical Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitative treatment in a nursing home for a 13-week contract in Potosi, Missouri. The role supports patients with physical functioning disorders and documents care in the electronic record. Treatment may include therapeutic exercise, ambulation, manual techniques, modalities, and assistive devices under Physical Therapist supervision.

• Provide skilled rehabilitation treatment under Physical Therapist direction
• Administer therapeutic exercise, ambulation, manual techniques, modalities, and assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and report response to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document treatment minutes and clinical notes in the electronic record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and support
• Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and discharge planning

• Current Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Compact Physical Therapist Assistant license accepted
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
