Travel Physical Therapist in Worcester, MA

A Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat residents in a nursing home physical therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Worcester, Massachusetts. The role uses standardized assessments, evidence-based interventions, wound care support, assistive devices, and thorough electronic documentation.

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
• Develop and adjust individualized plans of care based on assessment findings
• Administer therapeutic exercise, ambulation, manual techniques, modalities, and supportive devices
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Document treatment minutes, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic record
• Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team about goals and barriers
• Support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, students, and required care conferences

• Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
