Travel Physical Therapist in Waltham, MA

A Travel Skilled Nursing Physical Therapist will provide therapy services to maximize residents’ function and independence on a 13-week contract in Waltham, Massachusetts. The role serves residents in a skilled nursing setting and uses an electronic medical record for documentation.

• Evaluate residents and establish therapeutic plans of care
• Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor progress toward functional goals
• Document evaluations, treatments, and teaching in the electronic medical record
• Educate residents and caregivers on goals, assistive devices, and care needs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, nursing, and other team members
• Supervise assistant-level staff and support orientation and in-service education

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of Physical Therapist experience

• BLS certification
• Master’s or Doctorate degree
• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience
