Travel Physical Therapist in Wichita, KS

A Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient rehab unit during a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit uses Meditech Magic and therapy equipment for a high-volume rehab caseload.

• Evaluate mobility, strength, and functional status
• Develop and carry out treatment plans
• Provide gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver instruction
• Track treatment time and charges
• Collaborate with PT, OT, and SLP colleagues
• Use lifts, transfer equipment, gym tools, and vital sign monitoring as needed

• Kansas Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 6 months current acute care Physical Therapist experience
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Acute inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Neuro certification or neuro treatment experience
