Travel Physical Therapist in Waycross, GA

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation care in an acute care hospital in Waycross, Georgia on a 12-week contract. The unit has 10 beds, uses Meditech for billing only, and charts on paper with a 1:4 therapist-to-patient ratio.

• Perform physical therapy evaluations
• Develop and carry out treatment plans
• Assist with gait training and therapeutic exercise
• Support ADL training and functional mobility
• Complete CARE and FIM assessments
• Supervise PTA care within professional standards
• Document patient progress on paper charts

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Georgia
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills

• Inpatient rehab experience
• Acute care rehab experience
