Travel Physical Therapist in Portland, IN

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation care on a 13-week contract in Portland, Indiana. The unit treats orthopedic, neurologic, gait and balance, pain management, and work comp patients across adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with Cerner charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate outpatient therapy needs and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, gait training, neuro re-education, and manual therapy
• Perform soft tissue mobilization and instrument-guided soft tissue mobilization as indicated
• Treat orthopedic, neurologic, pre-op, post-op, and work comp patients across age groups
• Educate patients and families on home exercise, safety, and injury prevention
• Document visits, progress, and reassessments in Cerner
• Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning and follow-up needs

• Indiana Physical Therapist license or pending state license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience

• Orthopedic and neurologic outpatient rehabilitation
• Gait and balance, pain management, and work comp care
• Cerner charting system experience
• Manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization techniques
