Travel Physical Therapist in Newport, OR

A Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Newport, Oregon. The role supports orthopedic, neurological, stroke, balance, dizziness, and chronic pain rehabilitation focused on movement and return to function. Care centers on improving mobility, independence, and participation in community activities.

• Evaluate mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Deliver movement-based therapy for orthopedic, neurological, stroke, balance, dizziness, and chronic pain needs
• Educate patients and caregivers on recovery goals and home exercise
• Document assessments, progress, and treatment responses
• Coordinate discharge planning to support safe return to function

• Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
