Travel Physical Therapist in Manchester, NH

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient evaluations and treatment in a hospital for a 12-week contract in Manchester, New Hampshire. The unit sees about 10 patients per 8-hour day, uses Sunrise Allscripts, and cares for a higher volume of cardiac, vascular and orthopedic patients.

• Perform inpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatment plans
• Treat acute care patients with cardiac, vascular and orthopedic diagnoses
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety and home exercise
• Document care in the unit charting system
• Collaborate with occupational and speech therapy staff and the therapy director
• Use basic rehab equipment and assistive devices to support mobility

• New Hampshire Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Acute care physical therapy experience
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Core inpatient mobility, transfer and gait training skills

• Vestibular therapy experience
