Travel Physical Therapist in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide therapy across outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing settings on a 26-week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The role serves adults and geriatrics in a critical access hospital with outpatient, inpatient, and SNF therapy, using Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate mobility, strength, pain, and function
• Develop and update plans of care
• Provide therapeutic exercise and gait training
• Use assistive devices and safety techniques
• Educate patients and families on recovery
• Coordinate care across therapy settings

• BLS certification
• Alaska Physical Therapist license
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Pediatric and adolescent experience
• Acute care and skilled nursing experience
• Lymphedema management and pelvic floor training
