Travel Physical Therapist in Haines, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments on a 13-week contract in Haines, Alaska. The role serves a wide range of ages with varied diagnoses and functional needs in a clinic setting, with documentation, equipment coordination, and discharge planning.

• Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide outpatient physical therapy treatments and therapeutic exercise
• Review records, coordinate with care teams, and update providers
• Document evaluations, progress, and discharge recommendations
• Fit and train patients on adaptive devices and mobility aids
• Educate patients, families, and staff on home programs and therapy goals
• Support equipment planning, supply needs, and quality improvement

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license
• Master's or doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or APTA-approved baccalaureate preparation with 2 years of continuing education experience
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Valid driver's license
• 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
