Travel Physical Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist will provide therapy services in an acute hospital on a 15-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and is part of a Magnet and Level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and gait training
• Assist with transfers, assistive devices, and safe patient handling
• Monitor progress and update goals and discharge plans
• Educate patients and families on home exercise and recovery
• Document care and outcomes in the medical record

• Alaska Physical Therapist License
• BLS certification
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Inpatient rehabilitation assessment and mobility skills

• Epic charting experience
• Acute care experience
• Neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation skills
