Travel Physical Therapist in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation care in Anchorage, Alaska for a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess mobility, strength and functional status
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Provide gait, transfer and balance training
• Educate patients and families on home exercise, safety and discharge needs
• Support rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, spinal and orthopedic conditions
• Document progress and reassess outcomes in Epic

• BLS
• Alaska Physical Therapist license or compact license, pending license accepted
• 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Epic charting system experience
• LTAC experience
• Acute care experience
