Travel Pharmacist in Orange Park, FL

A Travel Pharmacist will provide inpatient pharmacy support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Orange Park, Florida. The unit uses Meditech, DoseEdge and Pyxis, and offers exposure to trauma, stroke and surgical services.

• Review medication orders for safety and accuracy
• Prepare and verify inpatient medications
• Support dispensing workflows with automation systems
• Collaborate with providers and nurses on therapy questions
• Monitor dosing, interactions and drug therapy
• Document interventions and medication changes

• Active Florida Pharmacist License
• 3 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• BLS
• Graduation from an accredited pharmacy program
