Travel Pharmacist in Clearlake, CA

A Travel Pharmacist will provide day-to-day pharmacy services in a critical access hospital in Clearlake, California on a 13-week contract. The role includes compounding, admixing sterile products, dispensing, drug consultations, drug information, and monitoring patient drug therapy.

• Compound and prepare sterile and nonsterile medications
• Dispense prescribed medications and review orders for accuracy
• Provide drug consultations and medication information to care teams
• Monitor patient drug therapy and response to treatment
• Support safe medication use through pharmacy department processes
• Assist with medication inventory and workflow as needed

• California Pharmacist license
• Pharmacy compounding and sterile preparation skills
• Dispensing and medication order review skills
• Drug consultation and patient drug therapy monitoring skills
